School arrival and dismissal
7:30 is the earliest that a scholar can be dropped off to the school. School starts at 8:00 a.m. Dismissal begins at 2:15. The latest a child may be picked up is 2:45 p.m. If you would like to check your scholar out from school you must have them signed out by 1:15 p.m. After 1:15 p.m. you must wait until after dismissal.
Does my child need money for breakfast & lunch?
Breakfast and lunch is included in the scholarship. You may pack a students lunch as well.
When will students get schedules?
Students are given schedules at Meet the Teacher.
What special activities can my child be apart of?
DT Preparatory has an athletic program. Students can participate in the athletics of DT Youth League which includes basketball and cheerleading. Scholars will also have the opportunity in participating in Career Track which will allow students to meet and be mentored by professionals in their career of choice. Middle School girls have the opportunity to participate in BBG which is a mentoring program for young ladies founded by our Principal.
How can I access my scholars school supply list?
Will be posted online by July 1st. Families enrolled by July 1st will receive an email for their specific scholars supplies.

See academic calendar posted online and emailed to parents July 1st. Monthly event calendars are also sent out to keep parents abreast of the activities going on at the school.
