DT PREPARATORY ACADEMY
DT Preparatory Academy, founded in 2013 by Bishop Charles & Lady Shaunda Young, is a coeducational, preparatory day school located in Pensacola, Florida. Our mission is to produce graduates who understand the importance of making a positive impact in the world. With a focus on infusing scholars with Biblical wisdom, building moral fortitude, and teaching academic principles through a Christian worldview, we prepare our students to run their race with spiritual fervor, mental aptitude, and physical endurance. Our comprehensive preparation promotes a strong sense of identity, community, personal integrity, and values, empowering students to lead and contribute to society.
With over 25 years of ministry experience, we take pride in knowing and nurturing hundreds of young individuals who have gone on to lead remarkable and distinctive lives. At DT Preparatory Academy, mutual respect and kindness are paramount. We foster an environment where students are encouraged to invest in the lives of others, both on campus and in our wider community. Through this approach, our students learn the value of compassion and become active contributors to society, extending their positive influence even beyond our school walls.
